I am looking into several security systems. I have found one that has quick and easy installation and relatively low monthly cost: the LaserShield Security System. By easy install, I mean there is no technician to come and put holes in the walls. You simply plug the base unit into the wall socket and an existing phone line, and then position the wireless motion detector unit at a door and/or window. Once armed, the system will call the monitoring service who in turn contacts you. Since one system covers up to 1200 square feet, we could expand to a 2nd system for the upstairs, and link them. It also includes a keychain alarm to enable or disable the system, along with a panic button.While the $19.95 monthly fee is cheaper than other services.It’s even pet friendly with special attachments to block out your animal from setting it off.
