WII
Analysts have been fairly surprised at the surge in popularity of the Nintendo Wii in this next-generation console war.
Lacking the top-notch graphics and media features of the other two systems (Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3), Nintendo's Wii features motion-sensing controllers and a much lower price tag than the competition.
The Wii retails for $250 while the Xbox 360 has two models retailing for $300 and $400 and the PlayStation 3 retails for $600.
