Manchester win

The winning bid for the new “super casino” has gone to Manchester, not Greenwich or the bookies favoured one Blackpool. The announcement and explanation can be found on the Casino Advisory Panel. Blackpool is pretty much gutted as they were depending on this to revitalise, what even people from Blackpool, would admit is a dump. To say that Blackpool is gutted is an understatement. I notice that Hull and Great Yarmouth (next door to my Manor) has gotten a large casino licence. I wonder if Deputy Knob Prescott had any affect on the Dome not getting a licence?
