His hit song Brick years ago wasn't all that impressive so i never took the time to check out any of his albums back then. so fast forward to this past summer when I was re-introduced to the music of Ben Folds through (of all things!) the kids movie Over the Hedge which he happened to contribute songs for. the song Still off the soundtrack is a tremendous song. the kids and i listened to it all summer. so along with the soundtrack i ended up getting his most recent CD (supersunnyspeedgraphic), Rockin the Suburbs, his live album and Songs for Silverman. one of the standouts from his work at least for me is Not the Same. i initially listened to the live solo version with just Ben and his piano.
